Get Fit With Me
One of the best aspects of my job is that I am able to
design different programs for all of my clients. Depending on their abilities
and goals, I come up with exercises that will help my clients attain their
objectives they stated to me during our first consultation. During our
consultation I ask the client what their goals are, do they have any physical
limitations, what sort of exercises they like and dislike, and what their nutrition
and exercise habits have been like for the past few years. From there, I am
able to guide the client on the path towards reaching their goals and feeling
great about themselves in the process. Here are just some of the services I
provide...
Your core is the most important group of muscles you have
because it is involved in every exercise you do. From push-ups to lunges, from bicep curls to high knees, your core helps you maintain good posture and keep from injuring yourself while exercising. Get ready for lots and lots of planks! Planks, either on your forearms and toes or your hands and toes, are amazing for working your core. They force you to hold your stomach in while maintaining a neutral spine – much more difficult than you think and one exercise we will do in every session! |
In order to lose weight, there has to be the right combination of cardio, resistance training, and diet. All three must be enacted in order for you to see the best results, i.e. weight loss. Together we will find the right type and frequency of exercise for your body, as well as some eating schedules and ideas to help you manage our weight the right way. |
Some of my clients start their training with the goal of conditioning themselves for their sport, be it tennis, soccer, or golf. Together we design a plan with sport specific exercises that prepare them for their sport and reflect the movement pattern they will be experiencing during that sport. From there, we continue with over all fitness to make sure they stay in cardiovascular shape and maintain their muscular strength and fitness when they are not participating in their sport.

In most sessions with my clients, I incorporate exercises that
work the entire body. This means that we perform many compound exercises, i.e. exercises that work multiple muscles at once. This is not only time efficient, it also burns more calories than traditional stationary exercises. With that said, I still believe in the effectiveness of stationary exercises such as shoulder presses, but sometimes I may challenge you by adding a squat to go with it. After each session, you will feel confident that we worked all of your muscle groups sufficiently, and that will get you the results you want. |
HIIT training has grown immensely in popularity over the past ten years, and for good reason. I love using HIIT to challenge my clients to the extreme because you push yourself past your anaerobic threshold, into a place where breathing is labored and your muscles are burning. Don’t worry! I always give my clients time to catch their breath and recover in between exercises. HIIT delivers results because it boosts your metabolism for hours after you are done working out.

Strength and endurance training ranges in things from training for a 5K to wanting to build and maintain strength in your upper or lower body. In our first session, I evaluate your strength in all areas of the body, giving me the information I need to build a fitness and training plan that is designed just for you! |
Most of my clients are not as flexible as they would like to be, so we always take time during our sessions to stretch. Sometimes that is not enough, and I give my clients “homework” that they must do on their own – stretches to perform every day to help them achieve a greater range of motion and flexibility. |
If one of your goals is to run a race, then we can develop a plan that will get you ready for that distance in no time. Some of my clients just want to start a running program as a means of burning calories or losing weight, so I go over proper running techniques and the quickest ways to lose pounds on the treadmill. |
